Chehalis has had a Santa Parade every year. I have never gone to it before so we decided we would go. Jason heard on the radio that Santa was going to be flying in by helicopter to Uhlmann Motors to start his day of festivities. So we got up early and headed into town. We arrived a little early so we walked around and looked at the very nice and even more expensive new vehicles.
Finally we saw the helicopter headed our way. It got close and then circled us several times before it landed and Santa got out. He headed into the building where we followed. The girls got in line and had their picture taken with him. They also got cookies. They had a lot of fun. We had a cheap lunch at Wendy's and then drove around looking at houses that are for sale.
We headed back closer to town to find a parking spot and find a place to watch the parade. They seemed to all run out of candy right before they got to us so the girls weren't happy about that. I think they still got plenty. It didn't rain and we all had fun as a family together.
