About a mile in I felt my right knee start to hurt a little. I just tried to focus on how awesome it felt with the breeze and to watch the sun start to set. I ran out and hit the turning point. My knee was still hurting but I was enjoying being outside too much to let it get to me. About a mile from home I heard a truck behind me. Before I knew it I was being told to get my fat a** off the road and they roared away. I've already been feeling awful since I need to lose some weight before Portland. That didn't help. At that point the fun was gone. My knee became a concern but not before I barely made it in the door due to some intestinal emergencies.
Even after all that I still managed a somewhat happy post run photo. I'm mad and frustrated that now I don't even want to run outside again unless I lose 30 pounds. I'm even more frustrated since it happened so close to home. I'm worried about my knee. It was my left knee causing issues before. When I went to PT I worked both knees. I never had knee pain during an actually run before so I'm hoping this is something I can work on and fix on my own. It really makes me appreciate my "slow" running speed. At least I was out there doing it and was pain free. I'll keep you posted.

Don't let the jerk in the truck get to you! Not that it should matter either way, you were out there running, but your pictures certainly don't look like you have any weight to lose. Hope the knee feels better!!
You are not fat!!! Don't let some redneck in a truck take away from your accomplishments!
I have decided that when people yell that stuff they are just jealous. You are certainly not fat! Please take care of you knee.
Do not let anyone make you feel bad for running on the road! I bet they were more envious that they weren't able to rock a run like you were. :)
What a JERK! You are not fat at all! Some people are just so darn rude! Do NOT let that person get you down!
I hate hearing myself breathe too. I think I'm super loud. :)
I don't think you could find 10 lbs to lose on your body. Shame that some jackass was so miserable with his station in life that he had to externalize it and direct it at you. You look great.
In my experience, non runners hate runners. Especially rednecks who think that running, eating healthy, and caring about your body and the world is stupid. Don't worry about them. You are not fat.
PUHLEASE! Idiots who say stuff like that, say it to whomever. Tall, fat, skinny, and they just hate those better than them. Plus, he probably just felt like you were too good for him, maybe he meant PHAT!
Shake it off, our area is known for redneck idiots, I just try to ignore them the best I can!
Girl, I have seen you in person and there is NOTHING fat about you. Don't let that jackass get you down. You are beautiful and strong - get out there and run! Who cares what anyone thinks?! &%*$^%&&$&$
UGH that is just jealousy rearing its' ugly head. You look AMAZING out on your country roads.
(I only run inside so I can take my shirt off :) ) Otherwise? I'm out in my compression shorts & skirt. Drivers can suck it - I'm out there sweating my butt off more than they will today. :)
Know what I hate? That stupid guy. I don't think you look like you have a single pound to lose.
Chin up and take care of that knee of yours!
Odds are the dude in the truck was sporting a hefty ass and was just jealous over your awesome skills!
I totally get you on the breathing thing. I enjoy the sounds of nature, but once I hear myself breathing I panic and think 'Oh my gosh, am I out of breath? Is it always this noisy? What's going on?"
