Makenna has had a loose tooth for awhile. Tonight before bed Jason decided to take a look at it. It was completely detached behind the tooth. It was starting to look a little funky. Jason asked if Makenna wanted him to try to get it out and surprisingly she said yes.
Makenna went between having the giggles to taking deep breathes and acting panicked. Makinley enjoyed everything way too much. It will be interesting to see how she will be when her time comes.
Jason kept trying to get a grip on it with a washcloth. Makenna was getting worked up a little so I suggested using a baby wipe to get rid of the bulk and get a better feel. After that Jason pulled it right out. She she has now lost 8 of her baby teeth.
I don't know who was more relieved that it was over, Jason or Makenna. Jason does not like hurting his girl. They had a few bonding moments after it was over.
