Trick-or-Treat

One of our Halloween Traditions is to take the girls to Vader to make sure they get to show off their costumes to their Great-Grandma Heitzmann and to Grandpa Mike & Grandma Brenda. I picked up Makenna right after school so we could head that way. Makinley was already dressed up so we quickly got Makenna done up as soon as we got there. This year Makinley was a pirate. We got to recycle that costume from Makenna. I'm not sure what Makenna's official costume title was. It was a princess type dress but with dark colors. She loved the dress so that was all that mattered.
Once she was dressed the candy collecting began. They got little bags full of treats each plus their favorite Smartfood popcorn. At Great-Grandma's they got a big bag each of M&M's.

After that we headed home to pick up Daddy. Once we got him we went to the Chehalis fire station where they had a safe candy stop. It was decorated really cool. Then the girls went to Grandma Anna's house where we parked and trick-or-treated her neighborhood by the Chehalis High School. This is a very good area to get lots of stuff. Then we went to Grandpa Dean & Nicky's house. Jason stayed with his Dad while us girls rode with Nicky to go visit her mom and dad and their neighborhood. Finally to finish it all off we went back to Chehalis where we knew people who had decorated their whole yard with massive decorations. They had lights, fog, music, and even a live zombie. It really was one of the best Halloween things I have seen. They were all dressed as pirates too so Makinley fit right in. The girls were fading fast at this point so we headed back to Dean's to get Jason. The girls fell asleep on the way so it was quite the ordeal to wake them up and transfer car seats and limp bodies into our car. This morning we took a picture of them with their loot. I think they got enough.
