Brian

Today Jason's best friend, Brian Conrad, was hit by a train while riding his dirt bike.  He was transported by ambulance to Centralia and then life-flighted to OHSU in Portland, Oregon.  He had to have spinal surgery tonight.  They did two different surgeries, one through the front and one through the back of his neck.  It took about 5 hours.  They are waiting until later to address his other injuries which include some broken bones.  We made it to the hospital right before they took him in for his surgery prep.  We waited with Susie, her parents, Bishop, Doug Gifford, the Wright's and the Horton's.  Bishop and Doug were able to give him a blessing after his surgery before they headed home.  We stayed for awhile longer since we were hoping to get to see Brian.  We made it home around 4 a.m.
